My
Story:
Receiving a heart for ministry
When I was 18 years old, I had a life-changing encounter with the mercy and love of Jesus. That experience changed the trajectory of my life. God called me to serve for two years as a missionary with the NET Ministries. It was then that God formed in me a heart for ministry. I knew what I wanted most was to lead people to Jesus and renew the Church.
After graduating from Franciscan University, I began serving the Church as a youth minister. In 2003, I returned to my alma mater to serve as the Director of Youth Outreach, overseeing all aspects of the Steubenville Youth Conferences. For the past five years I have served as the Director of Evangelization and Formation for the conference office. I have also led countless missions, retreats, and formation events.
Recently I discerned that God is calling me to fully invest in this ministry. It is a step of faith, but as a wise friend once told me, “If you want to spread faith, you better be living by it.”
The Romans 5:5 ministry is God’s way of using me to proclaim the truth and beauty of His love, lead people to Spirit-led discipleship, and equip and empower the next generation of parish and youth ministry leaders.
I want everyone to experience the same life-changing love of Jesus that I have experienced and let the Lord form in them a beautiful heart for ministry.

This is not God’s plan for you. Jesus said, “I have come that they may life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10
